Kenn Banks OBE, joined the Public Utilities Commission as executive Director in March of 2015.
He is an accomplished manager with more than 30 years’ experience in public administration, policy formulation, utility regulation, and institutional reform.
He is a Civil Engineer by training with experience in infrastructural development and project management and administration for civil engineering and building works.
Having served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Infrastructure (PS MICU) from 1995 to 2006, he was intimately involved in the creation of the liberalized framework for the Telecommunications sector which included the establishment of Public Utilities Commission.
He is a past Chairman of both the Water Corporation and the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority, a Director of ANGLEC and a past Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department.
